Ok I admit that I have seen some very cute maternity/nursing clothes but they are all online and I justcan't stand the idea of spending what they seem to want. I remember finding this insanely chic, cute mternity jacket...looked JUST like the babyphat jacket I had been lustig after for a whole year....and they wnted like $230 fr it. I figured for that I could just buy the $70 babyphat jacket, which would last for years, and wear it unzipped!

I also think that being on the other end (super extremely petite) makes it hard to find maternity clothes. Most places don't even make maternity clothes size xs. All the pants were too long for me at motherhood, the shirts were baggy/too long.... I guess the world is just geared for average size people only...

nope, not for me. but i nurse anywhere and everywhere, boob out, with a wiggly somersaulting toddler and don't give a whit of thought to "modesty". don't wear bras either (don't own one), but do wear regular camisoles (not the nursing ones) and just pull my boob over the top as needed.

I like the ones I have because while I'm not concerned about showing breast, I am very self conscious about showing my belly and back fat. I have a tank top that I wear under t-shirts as well as a few nursing shirts for when I go out.

I also like that nursing shirts tend to be cut long, which is what I need right now since I have an enormous gut that hangs over my pants and it's hard to find shirts long enough. All my "nice" tops right now are either nursing tops or maternity ones.

I have a couple nursing dresses, and couldn't live without! I'm a lift up girl, not pop over, and there is no way I'm lifting a dress hem up to shoulder height in order to nurse! Shirts I own, but never wear. Tanks I like but struggle to find good ones.

I use the Target ones. They do have spaghetti straps but the bra part itself is supportive enough for me along with the straps for a little added support. With regular bras, and I assume this is true of tanks with bras, you want the band to do the real support, not the straps. The band should generally be tighter than you think it should be!

I have some nursing clothes and they are super convenient. I bought quite a bit cheap off Ebay. I never wore them around the house. Only if we were going out and about. If I were just going to the park with other like minded mom's, I probably wouldn't bother because I was always discreet but if we are going to church, a non AP friend's house, or shopping then I might wear them.
