Something extra special from the Tooth Fairy

DS lost his second tooth this weekend, after it had been dangling there for weeks. He was just too scared pull it out. It came out sometime in the night and we only noticed because he wandered into our room and when getting him some water we noticed it was missing. And found it in the bed.

Soooo… we totally forgot to have the Tooth Fairy visit that night. Luckily DS didn’t seem to mind that she had “already done her rounds” earlier that night. The next night I left him a dollar… with glitter on it.

I wanted to make it a bit more special. DH totally rolled his eyes his at my glittered up dollar but I thought it was cute. When DS found it next morning – he flipped LOL He was so excited and mystified by the glitter the Tooth Fairly left on the dollar, he carried it around and talked about it all day.

BTW I added a tiny bit of lotion to the dollar so the glitter would stick.

Awesome idea! My dd is soooo close to losing her first tooth. I'm gonna do the glitter trick too! I think she'd be so excited.

Cute idea! I usually just do a sweet note from the tooth fairy (though last time, I only remembered in the morning and the tooth fairy just dropped bare bill under the pillow ), but DD would sooo love a glittery dollar bill...She has her 9th loose tooth, so I better find the glitter soon!
