My daughter is beginning to take charge of her homeschooling- I set things up and go through them with her, but she's old enough that she does a lot of it on her own now.
My younger kids have, in the past month or so, decided that, while mom is great for a fly-by check in, playing together is SO Much Better!
Even my youngest is emerging from the 'hold me all the time!' phase. He prefers being on his own to play with his older brother chasing each other throughout the house.
