This weekend, I'm painting our foyer, stairs, hall and possibly kitchen. The first three areas will all be one color, but the kitchen will be different. It's currently a very flat cream and greenish/tan. The cabinets are off white with distressed brown. The hardware is the dark brown/antiquish looking color. The backsplash has a burnt orange glaze. The counter tops are granite with tan, off, brown specs. My valance is a dark olive green.
Sooo... I'm thinking of going with a going with a creamy brown. Or I can paint over the glaze any color I want. The breakfast area and family room which continue with the kitchen is a pale, mustardy yellow.
