Yeast in my wool?

We've been battling yeast for months now. Just when I think it's gone it flares up again. Right now the dr has us using sposies hoping that that will help the open sores (not yeast) heal, so I have at least a couple weeks to deal with my wool, which I have to suppose is the point of reinfection.

Is that even possible? Could the wool be harboring the yeast?

If so, what on earth do I do to it to kill the yeast? Do I have to boil it all?

Really? Nobody's had to do this??

never had to, but won't boiling shrink or felt?
could a soak in tea tree oil kill it?
just a thought, that's what I'd try!
