Bedsharing and swaddling?

Even though I never planned to bed share, my 8.5 week old refuses to sleep anywhere but next to me. She won't even sleep in the cosleeper we have attached to the side of the bed, a mere 8 inches away from me...

Anyway, my question is about swaddling and bedsharing. I'd like to swaddle DD, b/c she still has a really strong startle reflex, which I think is contributing to her frequent night wakings. However, I feel like I read somewhere that I'm not supposed to swaddle her if I'm bedsharing (I can't remember where /i read this, unfortunately...)

So, what do you do? Do you swaddle if you're bed sharing? Or is it safer not to?

TIA

We do; however she only gets swaddled when she is really fighting sleep and won't stay asleep longer then 10-15 minutes. Like last night..lol

I do it. Not all the time, but if he's not going to sleep and being fussy and won't let me sleep then I will. I've never heard of it being unsafe. I also sometimes put him in his sleep sack while we co-sleep as well.

Thanks for the feedback! I wish I could remember where I read about swaddling and co-sleeping...

Looks like little Miss E may be getting swaddled tonight (and mama hopes this means a *little* more time between feedings...)
