I've been doing low carb for the past four months and have gotten to my ideal weight, but I feel like I'm falling off the wagon. I just jumped up 5lbs in one day - could be water weight gain since AF starts soon - but still, I don't like it and I really need to stay away from the sweets that keep coming in to our office for bday's or just because!
DH has been great in preparing low carb meals for me each night or when he goes grocery shopping and stocks up on things that he knows that will fit in to my diet!
I've been eating lots of wraps, salads, some soups - my snacks are dry roasted nuts, kudos bar (15g), sugar free jello, cheese sticks, grapes, carrots.
I do allow myself one cheat day per week where I have a beer or two and maybe a slice or two of pizza, but that's about it. But this week, I had the cheat day and then yesterday it was a co-worker's bday, so there were pastries galore.
I think I need a little fine tuning on my willpower, too.
I run two to three times a week either outside or on a treadmill at the gym. I also do light weight training as I have an injured shoulder and can't do too much.
Anything I'm leaving out??? Should I start limiting myself to a certain amount of carbs per day? I did this before - did 50 - and lost weight like crazy.

It didn't happen the cycle last month but it's happening again. Plus, I've been eating the roasted nuts like crazy. They are low carb and I always get that sweet/salty craving right before AF, too.
Oh well. I do need to switch up my snacks, though. I just went to Target on my lunch break and picked up some low carb wheat wraps, deli ham, honey mustard - that'll be my lunch for the next couple of days. Oh and I got some pickles and cheese sticks. I had forgotten how much I LOVE pickles and they are less than 1 carb each so I don't feel so bad eating them! Same with the cheese sticks!
