I have a stash I'm ready to pare down. We're due with #3 in February, but I have gotten comfortable with using just a few of our carriers. Where is a great place to post the extras where they'll go fast? And can I post a Kinder Coat in the same place as the carriers? Thanks!

Well the place that will get the most traffic would be the For Sale or Trade forum at thebabywearer.comQuote:I have a stash I'm ready to pare down. I'm not sure as to their requirements for being able to list something for sale. There may be a post minimum or length of membership minimum. I've personally never sold anything there, but it is a hopping place to buy and sell carriers.
There is also a Babywearing Section here at MDC in The Trading Post. I've sold a few slings here with great success.
There is also a babywearing section at diaperswappers.com
I think the post/minimum membership requirements for being allowed to post something for sale there is a bit more of a pain than other sites. (Like you can't even post a link to a pic of your item unless you have a certain number of posts, etc)
There is also Craigslist, which depending upon where you live may or may not result in much success.
Wherever you list them, I think it is important to include a descriptive title, good pictures of the sling, details about the condition of the sling, how/when you ship, forms of payment accepted, etc. in order to get a quicker sale. I know that I personally skip over listings that have no pic or a "pm for pic if interested."
Good luck!Return HomeBack to Forum: Babywearing- Good place to sell?
