Life After Waldorf

We are lucky enough to have a local Waldorf school that goes all the way through high school, but I was wondering where most students end up after "graduating" from a Waldorf school. I know a lot of them only go through grade 8.

Just curious....

**ETA** I was wondering about the transition after Waldorf schools that end with grade 8.

My brother and sister went through grade 12 in a WS. My brother went on to college and graduate school. He is an artist/entrepeneur. My sister dropped out of college after two years. She is an entrepeneur, too. I went to WS through 9th grade, then Quaker school. I went to college, the Peace Corps, graduate school and HS teaching (public school).

Oh, gotcha. Well, like I said, I went on to Quaker school. Which was better in every way for me than the WS, but that's another story...

most transition without a problem. the basic skills are already developed (basics in math, science, history, art, literature, etc), and then they just flow right into school. they may not be used to the learning styles.

benefit of quaker schools, equality regardless of age. very helpful for strong minded individuals.

I grew up in a Quaker family, so it is interesting hearing it mentioned here.
