This has been my experience as well.

I think the moral to this story/thread is: We should all have 5876 internet cheapies under our bathroom sink!!

That way, when we get a questionable test result, we just test again. Then again, and once more a few hours later. Then again the next morning. You can't get evaps on every single test within the test time window now can you?? :nana

to the OP... i'm sorry, i didn't mean to get your hopes up. back in my day (4-9 yrs ago)... a line was a line, but we didn't have IC back then, not that i knew of anyway. sorry.
Sorry i must've come off as condeming.
ICs are not bad like blue dye tests are, but there are so many cheap tests out there ...such a questionable result definitely deserves a retest and could end up in a BFP but I guess I am more of the - prepare for the worst and be pleasantly surprised attitude.
I too am from the -if there is a line, it's a line era...
So sorry again, i didn't mean to sound rude. I def agree a retest is in order!
