12 month old DD food issues

I am having some issues with my 12 month old DD.

She had pretty bad reflux until she was about 3 months. Her poops have always (every.single.last.one) been watery, green, mucousy, and on three occasions contained a streak or two of blood. When she was about 2 months or so I cut out dairy for almost 6 months. These are some improvements I saw:
Her skin didnt break out into little spots anymore (these spots were on her face after she ate and lasted about an hour or two.)
No more streaks of blood in her stool. But her stool was STILL completely messed up tho during the no dairy time, super runny, green, mucousy. Literally globs of mucous in them.
She was waking up at night only twice, nursed and went back to sleep, but she had been a fair sleeper since she was born so there was really no change there.
When she was about 8 months I went on dairy again. She seemed fine, no change. Then at 9.5 months she stopped sleeping well. She has been waking up 6 times a night since then, and she is now 12 1/2 months old. I am so exhausted. She fusses at me most of the day and rarely takes a single nap all day. Some of it is normal separation anxiety stuff, like I cant get up and walk to the bathroom, but even when I am sitting right there next to her it seems like she is screaming at me. She is 25 lbs., so not skinny, and eats almost only breastmilk. She has an occasional bite of food, a banana, a little cheerio type cereal, literally maybe 4 pieces a day (her not wanting to eat is a seperate issue I am looking into. Also, she often gags on any solid food. I think its more of a sensory thing.) The two or three times she has eated a little more than 4 bites of food the food seemed to be completely undigested in her stool.
She sleeps from 8 to about 7 and wakes up an average of 6 times. I have thought of teething since she has gotten teeth during this time, but there is literally no break, she has been waking up 6 times a night every single night for over 3 months. About three weeks ago I stopped dairy again for a week but got discouraged bc I didnt see even the slightest change in her during the day. My first thought is to obviously start with cutting out all dairy again.
Why were her poops still messed up when I was off dairy for so long when she was a little younger? Also, I am vegetarian, so the sensitivity isnt coming from any meat type foods. She has some Keratosis Pilaris on her cheeks, arms and legs and her cheeks are very red and vascular looking often times, I dont think she has any true eczema tho.
She has been on Klare Labs Infant Probiotic since she was about 3 months old, Carlsons Vit.D3 and just started Nordic Naturals fish oil last week.

At what age could she get an allergy test and get a true result?

It sounds like you're dealing with food intolerances, not allergies. I'd guess that dairy is still a problem, but not the only problem.

I'd suggest an elimination diet where you eliminate the top 4 intolerances completely for a couple of weeks - dairy, soy, gluten, corn, and see if that improves things. I'd also suggest adding a good trace mineral supp (I like Thorne trace minerals, which you can get on iherb.com) for both of you (just sprinkle a little on her food), and extra magnesium (any form except for oxide) for both of you. Epsom salts baths may help as well for magnesium. Then I'd do a sublingual methyl B12, again for both of you (it's fine if your little one chews it).

Magnesium and getting off reacting foods improved my son's sleep dramatically. Zinc (in the trace minerals) & B12 improved food digestion. We did more than those things, but that list would be the place to start.

I realize this wasn't your question but I'm thinking about excessive intake of foremilk- that can do a job on the GI tract too.
You probably tried this early on, but what about block feeding (one breast several feedings) to reduce the foremilk ratio? Just a thought.

When you said dairy, and that you were vegetarian, my mind immediately jumped to dairy AND soy being the culprits. But corn and gluten, the other two big ones are also pretty prevalent around here. It sounds to me like intolerances too, although I went to the allergist just to rule out allergies (though they are notoriously inaccurate under age 2). If you do start eliminating foods, keep a food diary. Everything ingested by you/her. And all symptoms (how many times she wakes up, fussiness, bowel, skin, etc.).

Asiago- Sorry! forgot to mention I did battle that in the beg. and fixed it with block feeding. Thanks for the reminder!

Mamafish-Thank you for the reply! I keep catching myself saying allergy instead of intollerance. I dont know much about the things you listed. What is a trace mineral supplement?/what does it do? What does the extra magnesium do? What is a sublingual methyl B12? I take a B12 supplement I get at Trader Joes. Sorry for the twenty questions

Today she just happened to have a appt. with the pediatric gastro doctor that she has since the reflux when she was little. I told him her stool was still messed up and reiterated she has never had a "normal" BF poop. I brought him pictures last Dec. of her poop, so he knows how bad they look . I told him about her sleep, etc., and of course he said he thinks she just wants to be close to me (insert groan here.) I am with her 24/7 and we co-sleep. I can see her waking up here and there just to want to be close to me, but not 6 times a night without skipping a night for 3+ months, yk? He ordered bloodwork for her to test for intollerances to foods, I believe the list was corn, wheat, dairy, chicken, soy, fish and maybe one other thing. I am skeptical about the results bc I have heard from so many people that the tests are not accurate this young, right?

TIA ladies

Sounds like all the things ds has shown a "reaction" to. Except corn and chicken, but also peanuts and eggs. Hes only 7 months and tho I dont know a ton about allergys/intolerances, I do know and have understood this long before we did the testing, that these intolerances can "clear up" if they are removed from bf moms diet. Ds dr said the only one I may haveto worry about is fish. I know that this may not be true, but I havetalkedto moms for years that have said when they cut foods, especially dairy, their babies get better AND their kids can tolerate it later in life.
Ds poop was the opposite he never went. I cut a bunch out recently and hes going really good again. Also his sleep is terrible too. His daytime personality has already changed for the better a bit, but nights are still super rough. Hang in there!

Her RAST test came back negative. I am eliminating dairy again now so we'll see how that goes.

RAST tests for IgE allergies (true allergies), not intolerances. So, you could definitely still be dealing with intolerances. Look at your diet. Is there something that you are eating every single day in significant quantities?? I would eliminate that item first too.

Also, check your baby's probiotic...if it was cultured in dairy or soy, I would stop it. Alot of kids with dairy intolerance can't do probiotics that were cultured in it. I'm not familiar enough with the different brands to know which ones are and which ones aren't though. Check all of your supplements for trace dairy as well. It will take several weeks to completely leave your system and your milk, so definitely give it some time if you're eliminating dairy. I agree with PP, I would also eliminate soy as ALOT of kiddos that are dairy intolerant are also soy intolerant.

I was wondering-what are the symptoms of a possible glueten/celiac issue in a BF baby?
