Encouraging my 4 yo to stay on her mattress

We all sleep in one room ~ DH and I share the bed, the kids on a variety of mattresses or the sofa. DS occasionally decides to sleep in his own room, but it's his choice. Anyway, DD2 is 4.5 and comes into our bed EVERY night, where she crams herself between DH and me and takes up WAY too much space . Her mattress is literally on the floor right next to my side of the bed, I'm right there! What can I do to encourage her to stay on her mattress? Our queen bed really doesn't work well for 3 people .

My DS is 4 also. We too have a family room. I found having him pick his bedding was what keeps him in his bed. Maybe try that if you have not already. I will say that DS still comes to snuggle if he has a bad dream and I'm okay with that. HTH
