short vent

I'm sitting here watching the movie Robots with DS and can I just say how much I hate the reference to circ... in case you haven't seen it, at the beginning, they are building their baby robot and they get done and realize that there is a spare part still on the floor. The mom looks down and says, "we did want a boy?" And the dad goes to pick up the part and leans over the baby with a tool raised and says "this will only hurt a bit." Then he hammers the part into place while the baby screams. I think it's a little ironic that they are putting a piece back on rather than removing something unnecessarily. But what else could this be a reference to? Every time I see it, I imagine a poor little baby strapped down to the restraints

That's so sad

(It's also nice to see someone else with the CHD ribbon in their siggy) xxx

I've watched that movie over a dozen times, and I can honestly say I never thought it was a reference to circ, merely a joke about forgetting to put on his penis.

Kempsmama,
That's probably how they meant it... but every time I see it, I just think circ... so maybe it's my issue...idk

(mumof5... 15mm hole in his atrial septum... open heart surgery about a year ago... thankfully, no long lasting issue... hugs to you )
