I'm trying to maximize my time off with the babies (so they can hopefully be close to a year old before I go back to work) so am trying to work as long as I can... I'm planning for 37.5 weeks with twins... People think I am crazy.
I just saw where you said people thought you were crazy for thinking you can work up to 37.5 weeks pregnant with twins....and just wanted to let you know that my mom (rare as it is) went 11 days over her due date with me and my twin brother!!! We were due V'day and didn't get here until February 25th. SO it's possible!!! (my mom was also 4'10'' and TINY when she got pregnant with us)....so I personally don't think you are crazy
And you know your body better than other people know your body! You'll go on leave earlier if you feel like you need it!AFM:
I have a sit down desk job, but i work at a 911 center on a military base....so it can get pretty stressful out here. I've already started having contractions at work or as soon as i get off work over the past two weeks so i'm talking to my doctor about when he feels like i need to take leave tomorrow at my 34 week appointment. I hope that we all can make it as close to our due dates as possible though...that time after the baby gets here is SOOOOO important!!! I was lucky enough to get to take off work 8 months with DD#1...I'm not going to be so lucky this time unless I don't get hired on by the company who's taking over our contract here at the Redstone 911 center!!!! G/L ladies!!!
