Anyone still watching and waiting to see what will happen next??

Glad Michelle got that gallbladder taken care of and is recovering well.

dd1 and i like to watch.

was surprised to hear anna using cloth diapers. i see so many boxes of disposie diapers on that show. i guess so many in cloth would just add to the crazy amount of laundry, but one would think that the $savings would pull them over to the cloth side.

This is the ONE show I miss from having tv...

I'm watching.

I had gotten bored, but I watched Tues and liked it. Maybe because Josh is so like my husband. A frugal businessman. Dh would have loooooooved the bit about buying the cars at auction. I loved that JimBob talked about how Anna got Josh's business stuff sorted out, and how before she came along, it was a mess.

Anna uses cloth diapers I liked her bit about driving the Hummer + cloth diapering vs. driving a Honda and using disposables

I know. I was thinking couldn't she just drive a sensible car AND cloth diapers? lol

Me too. Netflix only has the first 2 seasons. I love the Duggars. DH thinks I'm crazy.

I really like Anna, I think her personality is coming through more and it adds just a little edge to the Duggar clan. I thought her cloth diaper/Hummer comment was cute.

Anna and Josh said they were ready for another one! I'd love to see another homebirth on tv.

I personally wonder if any of the older girls have any courting interests. Surely there must be some Quiverfull young men that would swoon at a chance to court a Duggar girl...

I wonder that too, but whenever Jim Bob is asked about it in the little interviews, he just says "maybe". I can imagine that it would be difficult to have a relationship televised like that.

When did we first "meet" Anna? Was it after she and Josh were already engaged?
Wasn't it right around the engagement? The proposal was televised!

I remember seeing it on TV, but I figured it was a done deal by the time they aired it I don't remember seeing/hearing anything about her prior to that, though.

As soon as the Hummer sales she is going to get a different vehicle because of the gas millage or lack there of with the hummer.

I expect that they will keep any relationship "secret" until the actual engagement but that is just a feeling on my part.

I unfortunately don't get to watch it Cable over here is way more than I am willing to spend specially since there are very few shows I would watch..

As for relationships I bet they keep it a secret until its a done deal. They seem to want to respect their children's privacy (as much as possible) and not air what they dont' want aired. From what Ive read that is why some kids are on the show a LOT and others very rarely is because the children have the option on doing the interviews/shows or not. If they don't want to they just don't.

Sunday night at 8PM eastern time there will be a special on for Makenzie's 1st bday and they make it look as though they will be announcing a new pg but you know how that goes.

I have removed a post quoting a celebrity gossip site. Please remember that unless it's happening on the actual show, it is considered celebrity news/gossip and is against the UA. Once it's on the show, feel free to discuss at will. orngbiggrin.gif

subbing- just watched the one about Michelle's gallstones, and read the news about Anna and Josh.

I also wonder about the older kids and courting interests!

We have watched the first 2 seasons on netflix, so we are caught up. WHile I don't agree with everything they do, I appreciate how they respond to their children, live frugally and work together as a family.

Josh kind of drives me nuts- don't know why...

I am confused on the courting aspect- do you date at all before courting, or send letters/email? I just can't wrap my head around the idea of barely knowing someone and asking them to marry you- but that is just me.

How they showed it on TV during Josh and Anna's courtship: Josh saw Anna at one of the conferences and told his Dad then his Dad got in contact with her Dad and they agreed to let them court. They spoke on the phone and Josh made many trips down to see Anna during the courtship. They courted for around 11 months I think it was. They where never alone together at any point in time and had chaperons. So they did know each other as well before they got married.
