Leg/foot cramps?

The leg cramps started a couple weeks ago, though they don't seem near as severe as I had them last time. I take Rainbow Light 6 a day (500mg mag + 1000 cal) and a cal/mag supplement (another 500mg mag and 200mg of cal), as well as what I get in my food. I should be getting plenty of minerals, so what's the deal with the cramps??

Has anyone stopped their cramps this pregnancy with doing something specific?

subbing. the cramps are so much worse this time around-- not just limited to my calves.

Nothing to stop them from occuring, but a swig of Apple Cider Vinegar will knock it out pretty quickly.

I drank coconut water and took a potassium tablet. Along with calcium mag supplements as well. It wasn't perfect but it helped with the constant twitching/grabbing feeling.

ddcc My midwife recomended this last pregnancy not only the clacium mag vitamin but a seperate drinkable mag supplement. She said that alot of people are really out of whack and that the way calcium and magnesium work is they steal from each other (cannot remember the 100% explanation) but anyhow, epsom salt baths were nice but the thing that really helped was ionic fizz magnesium powder. Did the trick in 3 days.good luck!
