Can we talk evap lines? ANOTHER ONE? post 23

PLEASE before I pass out!


If there is a line on the stick.. and its pink... could it be an evap line?

I'm trying to figure out my camera because my iphone takes suck pictures. but you must answer NOW!

My understanding is that evap lines are usually grayish or colorless. If it's obviously pink, you're probably PG!!!!

If it was pink & within the time limit it says to check, then it would be a BFP. If you let it dry & checked it a lot later, that would be an evap.

I have never had a line on a PG test, but this sounds promising!!!!

Hmmm I dont think it was within the three minutes

So if its dry and pink, then its an evap?

okay whoever invented evap lines is the devil

Is it an IC? I think most tests have a short span of time for you to read them... like after 3 mins and within 10 mins. So if you saw it at 4 or 5 mins, that's good. If you saw the pink line 30 mins later, it might not mean anything. You can always test again!

I had an evap with color on an IC - so i think you should just retest and watch it like a hawk until the 10 minutes is up!

Personally, I threw out a couple of tests that I thought were just evap (b/c they only came up after the time limit), only to find out I was indeed pg.

Ahhh well then yes.. it was an internet cheapie

I'm tempted to test again now but I think I have to wait until tomorrow. AF is due the first so its still early.

okay wow these are horrible. I'll try to take more that are clear but this is what we have for now. the one on the right is the one in question, the other is from yesterday (yes, I know- I'm hopelessly obsessed)

Couldn't get the link to open, but both times I've had what I thought might be an evap, it turned out to be a BFP, and those were ICs. In my experience, a negative is like, no hint of ANYTHING, and any hint at all has turned out to be positive. Good luck!

Got it! The one on the right, I don't know. It's so blurry--I do see a pink smear, but it looks awfully close to the control line, not necessarily where a BFP would be, in which case it may be an error. But I'm not sure--maybe you are referring to a line that is where the test line would be and I just can't see it in the photo...which doesn't mean anything because stuff is always more visible in real life.

Yeah it is close to the control line. I'm not sure where they usually are because I've only gotten one positive test 3 years ago and it just said a big fat PREGNANT.

SO much easier that way!

Well I tried to take another one.. and all I can say is.. honey, I want a camera for Christmas
