Embarrasing problem related to being pregnant?

Okay, so it was nice out today and I brought my son out to lunch and we sat at a table outside. The tables and chairs were "grated" or had wholes. I may have sat there for five minutes. Tonight I was getting in the shower and noticed I have a grated mark like 8 lines big like a graph on my butt cheek and a smaller one on the other. My husband said it's like a bruise but it looks like purple ish like verified veiny color.

I sat in chairs like that a dozen times! Is it because of extra blood flow? Amuse me here...

'amuse you' .......... be glad you don't usually show your butt off to everyone lol?

Sorry that happened.. we do have a lot of blood flowing through our veins at this time.. not sure what else could have caused that.. did you sit down suddenly/hard maybe?

It could also be a sign of dehydration.

While I don't drink the amount of water I now that I should be, I am drinking and urinating throughout the day, so I'm sure I'm not dehydrated per say. At least I don't think so. Urine is light colored to clear...

I'm going to check with my OB today that my blood showed enough iron and such...just wondering why something like that would happen out of nowhere.

I have a friend that that happened to when she was anemic. I'd check iron.

Hmmm well my iron was checked with my initial prenatal blood work done when I was about 7 weeks or so and was told all was fine with the exception of my thyroid was a little low (but has since been re-checked and now within range).

Just got a call back and am being sent to get my blood checked for clotting along with iron (again - even though it was fine in August) and CBC. I'm slowly turning into a pin cushion this pregnancy.

Update: got my blood tested for CBC with diff, Iron and PT, PTT and everything was normal.

Odd - maybe I wasn't drinking enough fluids that day? I'm not dehydrated per say, but I know I need to up my fluids in general.

I have had the same, but it was on the side of my leg, just below my hip. I thought it was maybe from not walking enough or something... still not sure. Oh well, glad to hear someone else has noticed the same thing!
