Miquon question

Are the workbooks all that I need, or I need the Lab Sheet Annotations? I looked at a couple Canadian homeschooling stores, and they carry only the workbooks.

Lab Annotations Manual is pretty essential, IMO. The heart of the program is actually the math lab activities which are explained in the Lab Annotations. The workbooks are only a small portion of the program, mostly there as a way to check that the kids are retaining the concepts introduced and translating them effectively into symbols on paper.

Thanks you, Miranda. Would you happen to know which retailer might have it?

And it does link to mothering home page. Probably one of the new features

I agree, the Lab annotations book is necessary for the program. But I wanted to add, I got my copy of that book used for $2 through my homeschool group, if you are a part of one perhaps you could try sending out an e-mail to see if anyone has a used one that they would be willing to sell inexpensively to you. The lab annotations book I don't believe has changed much over the years, and I can tell you for a fact that the workbooks look almost exactly like I remembered them from when I was a kid and did Miquon in a private school.

I found my used copy on amazon.com, don't know if that's an option for you.
