So, DH had a vasectomy in February 2009 and got the all-clear a few weeks later 
. So, we assumed all was well forever and we'd be fine. But last week, he developed a lump in a (ahem) sensitive spot. He called the urologist who said it was scar tissue. OK, fine. But then yesterday a SURGICAL STAPLE emigrated from the lump.
The urologist said not to worry, it's very rare but it happens, and it shouldn't affect his fertility. DH is seeing him tomorrow to schedule surgery (to replace all the staples) which does not sound pleasant. I feel really bad for DH and now I am terrified. Do you think his swimmers could have gotten through if the staple wasn't secure? I don't trust doctors. Obviously. And of course we were intimate the DAY BEFORE this happened. Oh, which happened to be "O" day
