Anyones DC not walking down stairs?

Is it just that she won't walk down? Will she try bumping down on her behind? My twins are 3 1/2, and CAN walk down just fine, but seem to prefer bum-bumping most times. DS once fell down a few steps, and it was kinda scary even though he was fine, and it's made him very cautious.
