Clothing Question

Do you know where I can find clothing for a toddler and 2 boys? And just what does a child need? I know we have way to much and probably 90% is man made, meaning not 100% wool, silk or cotton. What do your toddler girls wear? I am sure she is a hot box in the sense that she won't stay dressed and says she is "hot". We keep the house at 68 (no money) and will build a fire when it is colder. But when you touch her skin it is always cold but she refuses to stay dressed! I did put her in a long sleeved shirt and a jumper this morning and so far she is keeping it on.
Sorry, I am looking for websites that carries natural clothing and natural toys. I taught myself how to crochet last year but can't read a pattern, so once I learn to read a pattern I can learn how to make sweaters, socks, hats and such. I did some how make a baby doll for Emily for Christmas this year. She found it and I had to wait till she put it down so I could hide it better I just hope it holds up. You can tell it is my first, lots of mistakes but...I am trying!
There I go again...off in my own little ways....sorry..
Thank you

If money is an issue and you are just trying to get more towards natural fibres I would start with layers of cotton. You could get that cheaply someplace like Target. Perhaps not the sweaters, but check eBay or etsy if you are wanting some nice (Merino is the softest non-itchy IMHO) sweaters. Or if you have a place like Goodwill or Salvation army you could get some adult-sized ones (BIG, like Large or bigger) and felt them down to fit your Dd.

I think she will feel cooler in these than in something synthetic.

What types of toys are you looking for? What age child?

I am not sure on what type of toys they should have. Right now my house is over flowing with Toys and I am going to be going through them and get rid of most of them. However I want to make them something for Christmas. I made Emily a doll (crochet but it is the first one I ever made and looks pretty sad) But I have no idea what to make for the Boys. They are 7 and 8. Any ideas? Thomas who is 8 told me that he wants me to make him things cause he likes them better then anything I could buy him! I thought that was sweet!
As far as clothing goes. Just how much do they need? My kids and my drawers are over flowing. I want to pair that down to.
I have a mom that buys yard sale stuff all the time...every time she comes over she bring over at least 2 to 4 "new" plastic toys. That are not new and truly are junk, how do you handle this? I don't want to hurt her feelings but this is insane. The same with books, we have hundreds of books, they need lots of books to learn.
Any how. Thank you for your help while I figure this out.

If there are things you don't want your kids to have, let them play with them for a bit, then when your mom is gone bag it up and send it back out of the house. No need to discuss it if you won't want to, if they really have that many toys she'll never notice some being missing.

We are constantly bagging things up.
