are you this... floppy?

Okay, so I was small before bf and am still pretty small, but now I'm small and floppy. Joy. DS can nurse while laying his head on my chest! (or at least suck, he doesn't actually get much milk that way) Sometimes I worry that I'm making the floppiness worse by letting him do it, but it's kinda convenient when I'm tired of laying on my side and it's also kinda cute! But since it doesn't hurt I figure I'm not actually stretching or pulling things in bad ways. So we go with it. But I wonder if anyone else does this!

Well, I have giant bazoombas...I had them before pregnancy, because I'd gained a whole lotta weight before I got pregnant. Then more with pregnancy. Then more after baby.
That said, my ds is 9 now and no longer nurses, but he did nurse that way, too, and my boobs can/do/did the same thing. They're pretty hangy now. They were never perky, but they weren't this hangy, either.

Ahh, acceptance...I figure they've done their job, and this is how they look now. I nursed for a really long time and I'm proud of my boobies for their hard and persistent work I'd like for them to look like they did, but they're never going to, so I better get used to them this way. Plus I'm not getting any younger, and I've seen old-people boobies (health care) so I'll take them this way over what they're going to be!

Dunno if that's any helpful, but I guess it's a long winded way of saying you go, mama. You're doing well by your child and it's all good!

Yes, floppy is good adjective. Except I'm large and floppy. My friend, who is nursing, has a husband that calls her breasts floppers. My baby nurses every which way, sometimes even upside down while I'm laying flat. And she does get milk that way! She gulps. I'm sure it is not good if I want to maintain any type of shape but after five children it is sort of pointless.
