uterine abnormalities and baby position

So all the talk about bicornuate uterus making it more likely for baby to be breech/transverse/whatever got me thinking if other uterine abnormalities can affect baby's position? I have a septated uterus, which was discovered by fluke on a u/s for cysts. My gyn and reading at the time said this was really only an issue if the embryo implants on the divider, which would cause miscarriage. Fast forward a few years, having my first baby. Easy pregnancy, no problems, I don't think to mention the septum. Go to deliver, everything is easy peasy (yay hypnobabies) until pushing, which doesn't really work so well. Eventually ds emerges OP (recorded) and asynclintic (not in the records or dealt with at all but it seems fairly obvious from the pictures). I had done decently with sitting right for positioning and whatnot, but not perfect (except of course the day I went into labor ). The prenatal records show him mostly ROT.

Could the septum have affected his position? Does that make it more likely to happen again?

I am curious about this as well.

I don't have any abnormalities that I know of, but I was breech, my mother and my aunt were breech, two of my cousins' kids were breech .... It makes me a little paranoid that I've inherited some sort of uterus shape that encourages this.

Spinning Babies is my best friend right now!
