really need some cheering up!

hi guys, i've been lurking, posted a few times. I planned to conceive in July. Normally when I say i'm going to get preg it happens, right away! I have 3 children 17, 12, and 6 years old. So by pattern you can tell it's time for me to have another baby. I just turned 36 in August.
When I woke up this morning, who greeted me? Aunt Flo. Dissapointment! Uuuuggghhh! My periods come every 29 or 30 days.
Since I have been TTC (July 2010). This October was the first month I actually felt ovulation cramping. OK my last period was October 1 and on October 20, I felt major cramping, then on 10/27 I felt a quick stabbing pain in my stomach and slight cramping. My breast felt heavy, and then awoken this morning 10/30 by AF.
well, i'm not gonna give up, but I just feel a little down 2day.

Hi Jemika...

I know when AF comes a knocking at my door, it's just normal that I feel defeated. I know I am not alone here, since I read many of the same stories. WE just have to keep trying! At least your body is working and cycling and you can keep trying. I hope you have a good weekend - you're allowed to feel down and I know you'll feel better soon.

Are you charting? Definitely recommend it and not to be a downer but 6 years is a lot to expect your body to act the same as it did before... TTC does get harder with age so it might be not quite as easy this time around but charting and OPKs might make it a quicker go for ya. Good luck and come join us in the ONE thread! Thank all of you for responding. Yes w/ age it does take a little longer, I have to remember that. I am very happy that I know for a fact that I did ovulate this month. No I have not charted, but I honestly think i'm going to give it a try. My main computer recently got a virus so i'm currently using my mobile device, I notice some people chart online and l'm hoping that I can do that w/ my mobile phone. Oh well, I do feel better, spent time w/ a good friend, nd w/ my youngest.
