I fall asleep on my stomach but end up side sleeping most of the night while I'm nursing DD2.

I haven't had any clogging issues, but I could see how it could cause problems.

When I do sleep on my stomach I usually have my arms curled up under me. Maybe that takes some of the pressure off my breasts? Maybe you could try and see if there is a stomach lying position that might work out. I wish I had some great advice for you!

I almost always sleep on my stomach at least part of the night, always have... and *knock on wood* I've had *one* plugged duct in 3.5+ yrs of continous nursing. No mastitus. Nothin.

Hi Mama,
After the birth of DD1, the pressure would cause me to leak all over the bed when I slept on my stomach. After a month or two, it stopped and (thankfully) did not start up again after the birth of DD2.
Not being able to sleep on my stomach is one of the main reasons why I don't want to try for #3.
