I'm so sorry

The best thing we could do was talk about our dog and the memories and stories we had. I made a card with a collage of his pictures on the front and a poem inside signed by all of us. It made me cry reading it but I felt better too. I had them printed and sent out to family and friends who knew Max well. It felt better knowing that there were others thinking about him too.
I still cry when I see a dog like him, though.
My DD will sometimes just say something that we used to do with Max and then say that we will always have that memory in our hearts.
I will be thinking of you all, it is so hard.
