4 and 1 year old sharing room...good idea?

we have the girls in separate rooms right now. i was thnking of combining them into 1 room and turning the other room into a playroom. we really need a space to play. i can see both girls really loving a playroom and with our love winter days stuck at home mama would love it too. i just wonder if it would work. maybe for a few years then we can move them into their own rooms again. they both go to bed around the same time.

My kids started sharing a room when they were about 4 and 2. They really enjoy it. I say go for it!

We've considered it here with DS and our 'god-son' who we have on the weekends, who's 4. Our issue is separating out the toys because GS has SO many choking hazards with all of his intricate little toys, so combining rooms, combining play rooms, etc., has a significant worry there.
