DD reduced immunity, Hidden Allergies?

My 16 mo has been catching cold after cold after viral rash after cold after thrush after, well you get the picture. We usually average 7 days of sickness and 3-7 of wellness before the cycle repeats. She also has ezcema patches on her back and upper arms. Frequent nightwaking is still a problem and she almost always wakes up crying or screaming. I have a history of IBS, asthma and reflux all of which was made worse by certain foods that I avoided pre-pregancy. During and postpartum I have had almost no obvious problems with anything but food intolerences are certainly in my history. Could DD reduced immunity be due to a food allergy or intolerence? (My other thought is it could be due to her last vaccine somehow, so a similar thread is posted there)

My son was sick about that often when he was little--the fall and winter seasons were worse than the rest of the year.

I think a lot of different things were involved for him, and I had to make progress on several before I saw him get sick less.

-food intolerances
-low nutrients--zinc and vitamin A were biggies for DS, also vitamin D
-low on methyl groups, so more folate and B12 and for us methyl donors like methyl B12 and DMG have been very helpful but those last two aren't great for everyone
-gut health, probiotics helped, right now we're using digestive enzymes too

I guess I'd try to start with the first and last on the list (not necessarily digestive enzymes, just the general topic of a good balance of bacteria in the gut). And since you have a history of digestive issues, then gut bacteria seems like a profitable place to look.

DS woke at night for a long time, he hasn't had skin stuff like eczema but a lot of kids on this board do.

I was going to mention zinc too. I think that can have a big impact on immunity (and bad digestion too- that's what we're taking it for).
Also, sleep can be related to a magnesium deficiency. I've even read that, as an adult, if you have sleep trouble (even without an obvious mag deficiency), that taking mag could help.

Ds has eczema too (just noticed it on his inner elbows today). I've read that poor digestion can be the cause of food sensitivities and nutrient deficiencies. It makes logical sense to me that food sensitivities could cause poor digestion, but I don't know for sure. So it's all related.

I've done ED's before, but at this point, I'm working on adding nutrients and giving it some time before I do any major ED's. I'm also removing a couple minor foods that seem suspicious.
