Termite Fumigation next door

Hi Mamas,
A few days ago I posted that my next door neighbor was having pesticide work done, it turns out that they are having their house tented for a couple of days for termites!!!! This will happen next week

I am 6 weeks pregnant, and even though we are next door, should I stay away for the day that they do it. If we lived near my family, I would stay away a couple of weeks but we don't.

What would you do? I feel really terrible about this. I've heard the first trimester is so important, and I feel so worried.

How long does it normally take? I'm thinking 2-3 days... Maybe its a good time to take a trip out of town? Visiting a nice specialty store out in a bigger city could be an option for one of the days. I know I have to drive an hour and half just to get to a Babies R Us! I think they use some kind of 'warning gas' with the fumigation. I'm guessing if you can't smell that from inside your house the chemicals aren't coming in very strong either.

I wish I knew more!

I'd stay away for the duration of the spraying and 24 hrs afterwards if at all possible.
