somebody just alerted me to this today. apparently the new children's tylenol in production after the recall may contain animal products.
this affects us since we keep kosher and wouldn't use it as such but it seems to me that there are also vegetarians and vegans out there that wouldn't hear an update on their kiddo's meds containing animal product.
reminds me of the mcdonalds animal tallow-french fry scandal a decade or so ago.

I think children's tylenol already had animal products in it. The Jewish pharmacy near my parents makes their own kosher version of tylenol because he has always said that regular children's tylenol is completely treif. This is in Canada so the recipe might be different.
