A year or so ago I know I saw a tutorial for making a potholder using (I'm almost certain it was from a MDC thread that I linked from)- maybe fabric pens and fabric? As I recall: Child draws the picture on a fabric square and then with some coordinated fabric, crafty ol me...turns it magically into a potholder.
Does this idea sound familiar at all and can you link me up? Or do you have a better idea for something similar? I'm thinking of Christmas gifts for g-parents.
If the fabric paints and fabric will work, I'm clueless as to what I might put in the middle of the potholder to make it heat resistant.
Ideas...or links?
