DD2 is just about 2 months and has very infrequent bowel movements. She had lots when it was meconium, but since then it was only about once a day. in the past few weeks it has become much more infrequent. She is gaining well (has gained over 3 lbs at 7 weeks). She doesn't seem fussy or uncomfortable at all, but I am wondering what is going on. DD1 pooped all the time until about 3 months, then at least once per day. Here are DD2's BM for the past 2 weeks (when I noticed they were much more infrequent)
Oct. 19- Large
Oct. 21- Small (size of 2 quarters???)
Oct. 23- 2 medium
Oct 24- SUPER BIG
Oct. 26- Large
Oct. 28- Small (this is the first seedy poo in more than a month)
nothing since then
I have been gluten and dairy free for almost 2 weeks and the poo was much more seedy on the 28th.... it was pure liquid before that.
She had a big patch of eczema on her forehead that is almost gone, so I know she has some sensitivity to either dairy or gluten. I was hoping it would improve the poop situation too.
What do you all think?
