Do you celebrate Halloween, and, if so, what costumes are happening in your family this weekend?

What's your favorite part of living in Southeast Michigan? (I live here too!)

What are you looking forward to about the spacing between your kids?

Is your rat terrier crazy?

I completely forgot about this and was pleasantly surprised when I logged in this morning


Do you celebrate Halloween, and, if so, what costumes are happening in your family this weekend? We celebrate Halloween! My DS was Obi-Wan Kenobi & my DD was a fairy.

What's your favorite part of living in Southeast Michigan? (I live here too!) Yay! Another Michigander! I moved to Michigan from Wisconsin when I was 17 with my now DH. I love Michigan! I currently live in the middle of nowhere but love being able to drive into the bigger cities around me to shop & do activities with the family. If I let my kids, they would ride the people mover in Detroit all day

What are you looking forward to about the spacing between your kids? So far the spacing has been awesome for us, DD & DS are incredibly excited and I love sharing every part of my pregnancy with them. Every week they ask how big the baby is in fruit size. They are coming with us for the ultrasound on Thursday, that cant wait to see their new sibling.

Is your rat terrier crazy? OH GOODNESS YES! He bounces off walls most days. He's super hyper & playful and has loads of boundless energy. He is a year and half old, very much a puppy still. He is learning new commands/training everyday. You can see him here

I love the People Mover! What is your favorite thing to do in Detroit?

How did you meet your DH? Are you glad that you met so young?

What fruit are you telling your kids about this week?

I live on the outskirts of a small village, sadly we dont have acerage but we live next to a lake and the kids spend lots of time finding frogs and watching the ducks.

I'd say anything anime, we just finished Deathnote and watched My Neighbor Totoro with the kids over the weekend.

I tend to stick with vampire books and currently reading the Anita Blake vampire hunter series & Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series.

Middle Eastern! Hubby is treating me to after my ultrasound on Thursday. I plan on baba ganoush, tabbouli, hummus and a chicken shawarma sandwich.

Cooking is OK. I'm a impatient cooker more patient baker.

My favorite meal is anything Middle Eastern.

I have never broken a bone, knock on wood!

I have one younger brother & one older sister. I don't get to see them as often as I like as they are still both living in Wisconsin. My sister loves seeing the kids and teaching them sign language, she is deaf. My bro is the one of (I think DH tops the list) biggest geeks I know. He programs for a living.

By far Red Wings games! We are huge hockey fans and I spend most of my weekends traveling with DS. He plays Mite league hockey.

I met my DH on Yahoo chat boards back in 99'. I was 17 he was 19. He traveled from MI to WI to meet me along with my parents for the Holidays. After he left from his visit we realized it was defiantly meant to be, so he moved in a month later until I could graduate from high school. We moved out to Michigan shortly after.

I found a nifty website that correlates weeks with fruit (sure some have seen it) and the kids love it! This week its a mango. DD can't wait till its a watermelon

dd1 decided the other day that wants to name the new baby Sosuke if it's boy, she asked about Ponyo for a girl, but I nixed that one right away!

Have you ever traveled outside the US?

I love the name Sosuke!

I have traveled across into Mexico when I was a teenager on a trip with a friend to visit her relatives in Arizona. I'd love to travel more if it was an option at this time.

we loved this series!!! watched the live action movies as well i have a little crush on L

I liked L too, such an intriguing character. Have you watched the Full Metal Alchemist series? We like that one too!

This pregnancy is going so smoothly, it very much relates to my son's pregnancy. I was barely sick in the beginning and I am feeling awesome

Yay for a smooth pregnancy

That is on my massive netflix queueueue, but i am on a horror kick right now. when that is done i'll resume my "watch from the top down" protocol that I started implementing at the beginning of the year after I realized we had movies still on our queue from 4 years ago. I pushed all the tv series to the end since they take the longest to watch. it is an impossible dream to think we might make a dent in this queue, though. esp with a baby on the way.

do you think you'll do any traveling or little trips before the baby comes?

I have been telling DH all along that the baby was a boy, and on Thursday we found out indeed he is a boy!

I am absolutely afraid of zombies!! I traumatize myself and watch all the zombie moves & currently watching The Walking Dead series.

I'm planning on shopping after the holidays for most of the baby stuff I need. My list is pretty small as we dont use most of the baby gear out there. I do need to buy some cloth diapers (thinking of going with GroVia), new carseat & I want a sleepy wrap. We have a name ready to go
