This afternoon I was doing a prenatal Pilates workout and during the core section (on my back, supported by lots of pillows) a big bulge appeared at the top of my belly. It was about the size of a tangerine, didn't hurt, was mushy when I touched it and really freaky looking. It was pretty high up on my belly, kind of in between my ribs.
I've read about diastasis recti but thought it happened lower down. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Should I stop doing core workouts?
