I think I lost my knack for decorating a few kids ago.... I have a fairly small living room, but it has no style and I want to re-do it. Our entertainment center and armoir are a medium to dark oak. I want to install wood laminate flooring...should I go lighter or darker than the furniture? And I don't really want oak laminate.....is it okay to mix woods?
Also - our couch and chairs are disgusting, so I plan on either replacing them if I can find a deal or slipcovering them. Colors or pattern ideas would be appreciated.
Walls are a boring white, but I have no intentions of painting them. What color trends or decorating styles are in now? I want it to be a cozy fun place to hang out - nothing too fancy. Suggestions please!!!!
