Headache Remedies?

Does anyone have any headache remedies they can share? I've had this on again/off again tension headache since Saturday. Tylenol doesn't work and I hate overdoing it on the meds anyway. Advil's off the table. I've tried caffeine since that usually helps, but this time it's not. I really haven't been sleeping well the last couple of nights what with getting up to pee and all and then having trouble falling back asleep. So it could be a tired headache. I'm 14 weeks.

I've been having a lot of headaches as well, but I think mine are sinus headaches. My sinuses respond to drops in atmospheric pressure and with all these low pressure systems we've been having it's been pretty bad. I haven't resorted to meds yet, but my neti pot is my best friend.

2 Tylenol and a can of Coke (It's the pain relief with a caffeine boost to help dilate the vessels combo)

I'm wondering if it could be allergy related. I'm in texas and the weather's been fluctuating between hot and chilly and the cold fronts have started coming through. Then there's the ragweed and cedar. I haven't had allergy issues before but I heard they can start at the 6-7 years post living here.

I have allergy/sinus headaches all the time. Pretty much only Sudafed eliminates it, but I try to avoid that.

Tylenol takes the edge off.

Peppermint oil (to sniff, or on your temples if you don't mind smelling like a candy cane...lol) can help. A friend with migraines used it a lot.

Try some aromatherapy maybe. Hope you feel better soon.

Stay uber hydrated too.

I have to agree with the staying super hydrated, then peppermint oil, rubbed into temples, back of neck, behind ears, i even put a little under my nose and really deeply inhale and relax for at least a few. Also my chiropractor is my friend during pregnancy especially for headaches. Sometimes it makes them worse that same day as an adjustment, but they're usually way better the next day. Massages also help if it's a stress/tension knot thing. Last resort is tylenol and a little caffeine.
