About soy - I know very little, just that the standard thought is that the isoflavones are estrogen-analogs, ie, they trigger some estrogen receptors but not all. Most women with trouble conceiving are not going to be helped by extra estrogen, but some might. Typically, if you need estrogen, you're going to need a bunch of other supports, b/c there is some serious stuff going on. Although, I see where it could help nursing mamas, since they are running in a low estrogen environment, without other problems.
Hmm, interesting. When I started taking soy and got preggo right away I was still nursing. Maybe it was the soy that helped.

Things are going well. I'm hormonal, but ok. I am on a low-dose of meds, and right now I have 7 follies on day 9 of stims, and my estrogen is about 1200. As far as they are telling me, things are looking good. My lining is approaching 8mm, so that's good as well (since I've never been above a 6).

Hi Ladies!

Congratulations CLH!

I'm excited for you, Maurine!!

Apricot, good for you for making the appointment. Now you've got to make sure you find someone who understands that you know a thing or two, and will work with you... (I went to Letterie...just for a consult, but he seemed great)

AFM
We (as in DH) agreed to actually take clomid this cycle. I start tomorrow. 50 mg... $42! gees, they call it cheap - I hate to the the sticker on the hard stuff. (Please, oh please don't let me see the sticker on the hard stuff) I thought it'd be cheaper at my local pharmacy with a script, but it's not - internet prices are far cheaper. arg.

Big work conference tomorrow and Saturday - I am currently wrestling a publisher doc, trying to get it to a large-format pdf. And it just failed@! AHHHH

I'm sorry to hear that! At my local Walgreens, it was $30 for 5 days of 100mg. Which I thought was pretty cheap.

Really? That's quite a difference. How much are you all paying for Femera? I paid $60 this last time (which was canceled, so I still have it). Not sure how much insurance covered though.

Thank you, love!

musicoholic, thank you too! I have been sending you special vibes, too!

We're stimming along and hoping for a successful IVF. Thanks for still sending me love even though I'm hiding in a hole.

I hear fab things about Letterie. I'm off to see Hickok, also heard fab things about. It think my clomid was $28 at costco (50 mg). You don't have to have a membership to buy at the pharmacy at costco. I'm so excited to get an opinion.

I lucked out with Femara. Since it's not labeled as a fertility drug, my insurance covered it all.

Even in over 12 months I was away from MDC I thought about you ladies often
(and even now I'm not sure whether that makes me sad - or a stalker.... )

I hope everyone the best ..

Also does anyone mind if I lurk here still? iv posted a couple times in the dd club but it doesnt really feel right yet? I understand if no!!
I don't mind, CLH.

Call me crazy (but I figured you guys would understand) - I woke up with the idea to test (8 DPO). I knew it was a waste of test, but I have some cheapies right now. BFN, as expected.
