CONGRATS tourist.

I'm jumping back in ultrasound showed nothing just a black area with nothing inside of it at all i've had no cramping at all, dr drew a beta to confirm the ultrasound.

Oh Kami, I'm so so sorry!! :-(

Tourist: Many congrats!!!

AFM: 11 dpo. BFN this morning. Going nuts thinking is AF starting or not? This is the longest LP I've had since before DD was born. Last month was 10 days. I'm guessing I'm going to get AF tonight. I wanted a longer LP but now that it is getting longer, I just want AF to come if I am not prego. I doubt I am prego if BFN still. Although I did get a BFN at 11 dpo w/my daughter. I just really doubt I am prego.

I'm so sorry, Kami. I hope and pray that it was just a bad ultrasound.

Socali--FX for you! I hope you have a definite good answer soon!

tourist--congrats!!! That's a pretty BFP!

hildare--if your AF isn't expected for another 6 days, I think you're not out yet! I'd test again in a couple days.

Cindy--I know what you mean about waiting for AF. . .but then again, a longer LP is good and who knows maybe you are pg!

AFM--I had a dream about getting AF last night. Weird. I don't know if that's cuz I was feeling a bit crampy or just b/c I am thinking about it too much. But I think my body is just not there yet--still no sign of ovulation (and I am assuming at this point that I will O before my first PPAF, but maybe not?), unless I totally missed my EWCM. Oh and totally off topic, but my little guy started walking last night

I don't remember for sure, but I believe I started having 'symptoms' about 9-10PP. Around 12 months PP I started taking a pregnancy test semi-regularly (every 4-6 weeks) because it seemed like I would start having some PG symptoms--nausea, tiredness, etc. Before I got my first PPAF I did have O signs--fertile CM and I suspected that AF may be coming. I got my first PPAF at 18 months PP and DD still nurses about every 3-4 hours, but she can go all day if I am not around.

SoCali: I hope you get some answers soon and that they are good!

Oh Kami!
I hope everything turns out ok for you!

5dpo and feeling like I'm not going to get pg until Nora weans. I hope that's not the case but I feel it like a rock in my chest, that it's just going to be that way. I don't know what else to chalk it up to. If I don't get pg this cycle, I am going to push her to give up the last nursing, which is for about 5 min right before bed.

Baby_Cakes~ for you this cycle.

Thanks everyone for the and
The dr just called me saying even though it went up it didn't go up in the way they expected to see and he still thinks it will end in a miscarriage and said to stop the progesterone that i'm taking.i'm thinking of just using the rest of what's in the bottle and then stopping it. there isn't much left in the bottle.

Zwitterion - I am so sorry for your loss.

SoCali - what a rollercoaster, you must be emotionally exhausted. I am sending lots of positive energy your way, hoping that everything works out.

Tourist - Wishing you a happy & healthy 9 months!

AFM, I go in for a biopsy of my thyroid this Thursday. I am feeling very anxious but glad I'm going to get some answers in the near future. If it's cancer my ttc journey will be derailed for a long while as I await treatment & recuperate. Not a road I hope to go down. Please keep your FX for me!

Peaches Mom: Just wanted to let you know that my mom's friend kept getting prego and having miscarriages. Finally, while she was pregnant, they discovered she had thyroid cancer. She had surgery and was able to have a healthy pregnancy. I hope it is not cancer! But if it is, it could very well be the cause of your problems. And thyroid cancer is supposed to be the most treatable cancer. Praying for the best!

Kami: I can't imagine the ups and downs you have been through! I'm still hopeful for you!!

AFM: No spotting or anything yet but I am having cramps and I just know AF will arrive tonight. Plus we found out today we didn't get the house we put an offer on. I always get AF on top of other things. It's never just 1 thing at a time!

I would like to be added I am nursing my 18m son, Silas and we are TTC#4. I am on CD13 waiting to ovulate. My cycle has actually been pretty regular for 8 months now but since I just had the ectopic pregnancy in October I'm not sure what to expect.

ms_quoted~ Welcome to the group. Sorry about your ectopic pregnancy

littlestinkers~Thanks i hope so also.

Cindy~ Thanks, i'm trying to stay hopeful also. I just got done talking to the doula i had when i was pregnant with my son and she said a while back she had a client go through what i'm going through and ended up with a healthy baby. I plan on contacting that dr next week about having another beta drawn. and thankfully i still have 2 refills on the prescription of the progesterone so i can refill it, pending i don't actually start to m/c.

Hey Kami, I just wanted to say that I know nothing about taking progesterone, but if that's what you would have been meant to do if the ultrasound had been normal and if taking it while not pregnant isn't dangerous then I agree that you should keep taking it until they provide some explanation of what's going on -- how your beta is up and how your baby disappeared.

I just received my new basal thermometer and ovulation tests in the mail. I've never done ovulation tests before. The instructions only tell you when to test based on your cycle length, which I assume is taking for granted a 14-day LP. For a 28-day cycle they say to start testing at day 11, so I'm taking that to mean that you should start testing 3 days before you expect to ovulate?

Here are my last three charts: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/15c6bc. I've been ovulating on day 18 or 19. So should I start testing around day 15?

Sarah~ Yeah you'd start using the opks around cd 15 that way it you shouldn't miss getting a + opk if you don't O til cd18, cd19.

I had my annual exam yesterday and also had my TSH levels tested (follow up) TSH was 1.7 Perfect for conception

I am currently on CD15 and had decent temp drop today. I'm hoping that it is the fall before the rise. If it is then this cycle would match my prepregnancy cylcles. I'm feeling really hopeful and have had 2 people recently ask me if I could be pregnant. Not that I would expect to be yet, but maybe (I'm hoping) it's a sign of an impending pregnancy

So I'm just waiting (not so patiently) to see if my temps rise tomorrow.

Recently joined mamas!
for everyone!

Also, I think I have decided that I want to have 2 more children. DD is our first and I have been thinking about whether I wanted to have 1 or 2 more and I'm feeling like 3 total would make our family complete

Oh geez Kami, what an emotional roller coaster. I'm sad to hear you're going through all that. I am praying for the best!

tourist!! Congratulations!!

Baby_Cakes C'mon bfp!

ms_quoted I'm sorry to hear about your ectopic pregnancy. I'm sure that was horrible. Here's hoping for a healthy pregnancy asap!

earth-mama Things are looking good! I always love dreaming of what/who may be in the future for our family. It's so exciting. I love these baby-having years. They are fleeting in the grand scheme of things! I hope you get a bfp soon! And I hope we're in an upcoming ddc together!

Vegan Princess Darn that AF. Although you know, it's not over til she sings. There's always hope til then!
