So, four days ago I started to feel some mild pelvic area cramping, sometimes on one side, sometimes on the other, sometimes kinda centrally located. Also, a kinda low down tingling feeling and the sensation of somewhat swollen vulva. I'm due to start my period any day now, but did have unprotected sex earlier in my cycle (I'm not charting but was pretty sure that I was at least 4 days away from ovulation). I took a pregnancy test 2 days ago that came up negative.
I don't remember having this kinda of pre-period cramping before...not for day after day after day. There's also sometimes the feeling of mild bowel pressure, but it's not relieved through bowel movements or passing gas.
Could it be some kind of ovarian cyst?
