oooh thanks for sharing!

I'm liking this new forum look, except for the dang ads and stuff on the right. :(  I've done all my baby carrying, and it just makes me sad seeing ads for babytrekkers, birth partners, etc.  (Plus, I loathe advertisements.)  Is there a way to turn that off?

We're enjoying the snow, been a busy weekend and a busy life lately!!   Youngest baby just turned 5...makes me cry.  She's so amazing, and so are her siblings.  Now only 4 at home, but still homeschooling.  A wants to start her college experience in January.  :)  We're leaving Tang Soo Do for swimming, except for A who wants to stay now.

I've missed all of you a TON!

love, p

I have an Arm's Reach Co-sleeper I tried selling on craigslist. No takers, now I just want it gone and will settle for the donation tax credit.  Any recommendations for an Anchorage charity that will give it to a mom in need, rather than sell it at a thrift store?

i feel just overwhelmed by stuff.  Trying really hard to have a zero gain holiday.  It's hard with little kids - you get them clothes, toys, books to grow into before they have outgrown what they are currently using.

a zero-gain holiday. Awesome!

My post was eaten.

For the arms reach - you can give it to McKinnell house, Catholic Social Services Clare House or baby boutique, or me.  I could probably find a good home for it through the families my org supports.

Hope everyone had a good turkey day!! We were in Colorado Springs with the in laws!!  The girls and I flew back yesterday.  My hubby stays until Monday then he goes on to OK city for 3 weeks.  I was wondering if anyone had a teenager that was looking for some spending money to help me out.  I might need help on weekends and one or two weekday nights.  I try to get errands and shopping done when the 2 yr old is napping but I can't leave if she is sleeping!! I could pay $8/hour.  Please PM me.

We made the choice to stay in ANC for Christmas instead of going to Saint Louis.  I'm trying to stay positive and make good memories.  What fun things are there to do around Christmas time?

Stay warm!

Sue

We're doing zero-gain for the holiday.  We have a few little school-type things and some sleds already purchased, but other than socks and underwear, that's it.  We're going to let the kids help us pick an animal from Heifer.org (surprised me all to heck that my husband had chosen that as MY holiday gift!), and we're not buying one another anything.  I love that he's on board with me about this. :) banana.gif

Has anybody seen sleds on sale (not just for sale) around Anchorage. Our hand-me-down sled decides to break apart last weekend. DS will be 3 in 3 weeks so something that is made for downhill but not to big or fast.  I'm avoiding any stores to keep to my budget/desires for zero-gain.

Thanks.
