crease blisters on nipple

DS is only 1 day old here. I am already getting blisters that form a solid line like a crease on my nipples after he's done nursing. When I check his latch, it looks like he's got a good latch. Maybe the tongue isn't quite out as far as it needs to be??? Is that what is going on here? It's really starting to hurt.

Congratulations on the birth of you little one!
If breastfeeding is hurting, then something is wrong. There is some info here about latching that may be helpful:

If things don't improve, get hands on help sooner rather than later!
