wool undies

Can someone explain to me the idea with wool underwear for ECed babies? Such as the little beetle wool underwear) They wouldn't hold a pee would they? Has anyone used them or made any?

I want to make some wool undies for my boy so that i can EC him more easily than with a diaper and so that he can wear some pants this winter. The leggings aren't enough for going out.

I don't know, but I assume it would slow down the flow so pants are not totally soaked, and it would soak up small misses. It also keeps their bum nice and warm, which might be important for a baby who is used to wearing a nice thick diaper.

I just discovered these on line today. I read that they can be used over trainers which seems like the best idea for me. So cloth diaper with wool soaker is replaced with trainer undies and wool undies on top. I don't think my daughter would like the wool next to her skin in such a sensitive area.
