Vegan felting "wool"

Hi there,
A long shot...but I really really love the look of needle felting and so want to try it out. Does any one know if there is such a thing as vegan-friendly felting wool (i.e. not sheeps wool)? You can get flat vegan felt (made from e.g. recycled PET bottles) but I've never seen felting wool. i'm guessing cotton wool wouldn't cut it?
thanks for any leads....

Thanks so much for the links. Have you tried felting the vegan wool from etsy? Because I just wrote the seller (Spineup) a question asking about colours, and she says that she's not an expert felter, but that the (her) vegan wool won't felt on its own. It needs to be mixed with an animal fibre. But the second link suggest that Spinup should felt too. I'm wanting to try needle felting.
Thanks Astrid1024
