TTC after ectopic

Hello Ladies,
My name is Jessica and I am new to this forum. DH and I have been TTC since July. On October 12th my right fallopian tube and corpus luteum cyst ruptured due to an ectopic pregnancy (it was actually my fourth ectopic), my tube was removed and my right ovary was repaired. So I now have one tube and two ovaries. The doctor said it is fine to start trying again after I had a period and I just finished my first period which started 10/21. Is anyone else TTC w/ only one fallopian tube? Oh, I am also still nursing our 18 month old

Welcome to the community! I don't have any experience with the one fallopian tube thing, but I do have a friend that got pregnant with only one ovary, so kind of similar. Anyway, I just wanted to wish you luck!

Thanks ladies!

I am hopeful about being able to conceive again I am more confused on the mechanics of it all. I am wondering what happens with the eggs from my right ovary if I do not have a right tube. I know that pregnancy after ectopics do happen- all of my children were conceived/born after my first pregnancy which was an ectopic. I had a ruptured tube that time as well but the doctors were able to repair it.

Hi! I had an ectopic pregnancy and lost one of my tubes. That was my first pregnancy ever. We now have two boys. And I'm hoping for more babies. I was told that the egg can really be grabbed by the tube even if it is from the other side. Because it has little feeler type things to grasp it. I don't know.... however it works it can definitley happen.
