I have never been a pumper- never really needing to leave ds-or wanting to. Ds is 9 months old. However Friday I have been invited to a scrapbooking group- where he is welcome- however I would like to leave him with dh. I think it will be fine and I will only be a phone call and 5 minutes away if it is not for either party.
HOwever I have been pumping away and have only 3 oz! Why? And how can I increase this and also how much is needed? Good question right?!
Any advice appreciated. Thank you!

Sounds totally normal b/c by this point things are so exact with supply and demand. My advice would be to pump in the am for the next few days - that is when milk production is highest. My dd is almost 10 mo and the same thing happens when i pump now. it will take a few days but you should see results and since you'll only be 5 min away no worries if there isn't quite enough.
