I have a section scheduled for the 10th for previa. I'll be 37w6d.
2 days ago (Sunday) I woke up, went potty, and when I wiped there was bright red blood-just a mucousy smear, but blood nonetheless. I called my ob and she said while it's probably not the beginning of a hemmorage, it would be best for me to go to L&D to get checked. So, off we go. She meets us there and checks my cervix-I've started dilating-which under normal circumstances, isn't a big deal at 36.5 weeks. But, she didn't want me to dilate at all-so we thought we were gonna have a baby. When she removed her hand, we saw the blood was brown which meant that it was old and I wasn't bleeding anymore. So we got to go home!
I sure hope she stays put for another week!!
