The other babe is tricky. S/he always has butt shoved in some weird position. I've been told "maybe girl" then "maybe boy", so I'm waiting it out. My next scan is 11/23

We didn't find out last pg and I liked it then. But, honestly, finding out this pg just felt right. I'm glad we did/are going to. Hearing some happy news, and having some happy news to look forward to during this miserable pg is really helping keep me going (maybe my little babe knows that and that's why we can't get a good shot )

I just got the results from my amnio today and am thrilled to be having a girl. I have two boys already, and have been having a very hard time feeling connected to the little being inside my tummy (this is a *very* unplanned pregnancy). But today I felt really happy for the first to be pregnant - and my husband (who has also had a very hard time accepting that I'm pregnant) was equally happy to hear that we are having a girl.

I've got this fear that I heard the receptionist on the phone wrong and I'm going to go in for my check up and find out it's really a boy...

We have our ultrasound in 2 weeks but aren't planning to find out. I hope I have the will power to keep it that way! This will be our 1st surprise-we found out with the first 2!!

my last 3 were suprises, I found out with the first. We won't be finding out when go on the 17th. My guess boy since I have 4 already. But wishful thinking says girl

I know a family who had eight boys before they finally got a girl--so you never know!

We'll be finding out on the 24th, so we'll have news to share with the families on Thanksgiving.

My 3yo ds is adamant that the baby is a girl. Well, except for the time he told me it was a boy and a girl.

I still haven't decided if I am finding out or not. The ultrasound is Thursday so I need to decide soon. DS says boy, except when he says boy and girl, and DD says girl. I am feeling girl, but I did with DS as well, so who knows. I think I am leaning towards finding out, but since this is probably our last, I am thinking about going for the surprise for once, I just can't decide.

this is our first and will be a surprise... unless, somehow, we see parts on thursday's u/s. but we plan on telling the tech not to tell us what the sex is. i'm really excited about seeing our lil' monkey on thursday regardless though!!!

Nadia, my u/s is on the 24th as well and we can't wait to find out! It will be nice to make that big announcement on Thanksgiving.

I had a gut feeling that DS was a boy from about 8 weeks and we found out that I was right at our 18 week u/s. I got no feeling this time and have just been going back and forth between the pronouns when I talk about this LO. I really want a girl right now though!

We had our ultrasound this morning and after thinking for 6 weeks that it was a boy (their 80% prediction at the nuchal scan), we found out we're having a boy!  Both of us were totally shocked!  I'm a little sad I won't get to see some of the little boy clothes that DS wore again, but I'll get over that since the girl stuff is way cuter anyway

We're not telling family and friends until Thanksgiving since my mom and her husband are coming up and we'll be also having my sister and her family, DH's parents and his sister.  We really want to tell people in person so now I need a fun way to do that!  2 more weeks to keep this secret!

We are having a GIRL....we found out at 18weeks +1 day.

Now we will have one of each.

I was totally against finding out, but my younger brother kind of talked me into it. And my husband doesn't care whether we wait or not, so we will find out at my 22-week anatomy scan on Dec. 15. I am SO excited! We are both hoping for a girl, but obviously will be happy with either. I just hope DH can get the day off to come with me!

So I gave in and found out(I wasnt going to...I wanted to be surprised...)

The sono was this past monday. My mom ended up going with me bc my DH had something at work he couldnt get out of. The tech printed out a picture and wrote on the bottom what it was. I was talking to my DH on the way home...and we decided to meet for dinner with the kids. And then I got the bright idea of surprising DH...which he said he was ok with(I was soooo surprised!) So I opened the envelope, with DD sitting there...found out, went inside Babies R Us, found a onsie that I wanted to surprise him with and met him where we were going to eat. Found a box in my car, put the onsie in there, with the baby pic on top...and when he opened it found a onsie that said "Little Brother"

WE'RE HAVING ANOTHER BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was so sure that it was a girl...but mama was wrong! And it goes to prove that EVERY pg is diff...I have been so gaggy and yucky that I thought it was a girl bc thats how I was with my DD. Anyways....we are thrilled and thankful that he's healthy and growing nice! He's already 9oz at 19 weeks. We were only off 1 day on the sono...so we dont have to change the EDD.

We are thinking Ryan for the name...all of my mom's grandchildren have a name that end with the 'N' sound....so this would work bc I really wanted to stay with that. :)

We found out today that we are having a BOY! We are shocked!

well.....after much debate as to whether we wanted to know or not we decided if it was obvious we would but we didn't want her to spend any time looking.  So the tech brings us in and confirms my dates, etc.  and asks if we will want to know.   we kind of paused and I said well..we think so we wanted to wait but I think I've changed my mind.  She said she was a little late for our appt. because the last couple really wanted to know and their baby was not cooperative at all. To which I replied if baby doesnt cooperate fine by me don't waste time looking that will be my sign.  So she said don't worry we have time to decide for sure I have to look at a lot of anatomy today.  She said I am going to look at the cervix area and your ovaries 1st.  so she does which takes a couple minutes and then she says lets do baby and puts probe over baby and then promptly takes it off and says. 'you need to tell me if you want to see because its really obvious and right there- I'll have to turn the screen off for you to not know' (they have a big screen on the wall so you can watch) so we said no, we'll see and she puts the probe on and there HE is with his little (looked pretty big, though!) penis waving right there. She was right, there was no way to avoid it.  Several times through the ultrasound I caught a glimpse of it!   In order to not see we would have missed the whole ultrasound.  So I feel pretty okay about my decision to find out. 

after 2 girls- we are having a boy!  I have a son! 

now to find a name.
