If you vaccinate...do you have a cut off?

I'm just wondering if there will ever be a point where you would say, "No- that is enough vaccines". I read that there are 145 new vaccines in development; now, I don't think they'll all be on the childhood schedule or anything, but I'm sure a number of them will eventually be added. So, if it happens while your child is still young...do you have a number of vaccines you're willing to give?

I am asking here since you ladies are far more educated in your decisions than the general population (at least in MY world). I think as far as the people I know, if it's on the CDC schedule, there kids will get it.

What about you?

I wouldn't decide based on numbers but rather based on what is being prevented and who is at risk. I might not get a malaria, cholera, or dengue vaccine without risk factors, but perhaps with the risk factors we would. Others around the world would greatly benefit as well. So for me its all about talking actualities and not vague "100 in development", kwim?

It's also important to remember that, for each disease, you can have 5, 6, 7 or more vaccines "in development." I think malaria alone has 6 right now, kwim? dengue has like 8 or 9 iirc.
