So I know from pre-pregnancy that I have internal hemorrhoids which are only a problem if I'm constipated so it was only truly an issue right after I gave birth to DD.
However, this pregnancy (I'm 16 weeks), I started having a pain on the right side of my entire buttock maybe starting about a month ago? It's only bad if I've been sitting for a long period of time and I stand up, at night when I'm laying down and get up to go to the bathroom or when I wake in the morning and start moving about, OR anytime I sit on the toilet. I would say it's a dull pain and there's nothing that I can visibly see though admittedly I haven't looked when it's hurting the worst.
Any ideas? I tried using Earth Mama Belly Oil at the beginning before bed and it didn't seem to matter. I'm taking 150-300iu of Vitamin E a day to strengthen vessel walls, but it hasn't made a difference.
I'm planning a water birth at home this time around (DD was home birth on a birthing stool) so I'm hoping the support of the water and not bearing down onto the stool will help with this.
Thanks ladies!
Update: A friend just told me today that she felt something similar that was sciatic pain? Does this ring a bell with anyone?
